Well, wrong again. Starting to get used to it. Ultimately it is the words that hold the meaning and that is what makes the song.

I am a woman. I make compilation CD's of my favorite songs often and I might be drawn in at times by the melody but it's the words that keep me.

You are right of course but what makes guys do all those guy things. Would a woman ever make a CD compilation of her favorite songs. I just dont think so. Aren't men the only ones who organise their CD collection? Like the main character in the movie "High Fidelity" (who I just cant imagine as a woman) songs and words of songs seem to be the back story to the lives of men. Dont know why.

And, as you saw last Sunday, I am better ...........

The Lifetime network, Harlequin novels and Days of Our Lives certainly prove that women are too busy with life to worry about romance and death wishes. (I saw a T-Shirt the other day that said, "Sarcasm is only one of the free services I offer.")

There are plenty of men as well as women who don't pay any attention to the lyrics of songs, even when we know the lyrics (Joy to the world). There must be sufficient women who notice lyrics or we wouldn't have Amy, Duffy, or Tipper Gore.

Hope you get feeling better my friend.
